Our story
Belsy Restaurant was founded by Chef Naeem and Myriam to bring authentic Syrian fine dining to Tournai and the greater Flanders-Walloon region. Everything is handmade in-house, from mezze to desserts, honoring Levantine traditions.
Belsy Restaurant offers two concepts: Quick Lunch (midday takeaway & dine-in) bringing fast, fresh Syrian plates to busy guests, and evening fine dining with seasonal menus curated by Chef Naeem. Both celebrate handmade Syrian cuisine without compromise.
The dining room, inspired by Damascus Azem Palace, provides a warm, calm space. An open kitchen and a backyard sitting area (weather permitting) allow guests to enjoy Chef Naeem's craft shaped by Silk Road heritage and Belgian produce.
